1. About Our Content
FitChef publishes evidence-backed nutrition content organised in three layers: study analyses (editorial analysis of peer-reviewed research papers), claim pages (synthesised answers backed by multiple studies), and library guides (comprehensive editorial guides). All content is grounded in published, peer-reviewed research and processed through our multi-gate verification pipeline.

2. AI-Assisted Content Production
FitChef uses artificial intelligence tools to assist in the production of editorial content. This includes AI-assisted research analysis, narrative drafting, verification processes, and audio narration. Every piece of AI-assisted content is subject to human editorial oversight and multi-stage verification before publication.
Audio summaries available on our pages are generated using text-to-speech technology (OpenAI TTS) from human-crafted scripts. These audio files are served via audio.fitchef.com.

3. Verification and Trust Data
FitChef assigns trust scores, consistency indices, and certainty tiers to its content based on systematic evaluation of the underlying research. These metrics are produced through our verification pipeline and are intended to provide transparency, not certainty. They reflect our assessment at the time of publication and may be updated as new evidence becomes available.

4. Structured Data and API Access
FitChef provides structured data through JSON-LD schema markup, a REST API, and machine-readable endpoints including llms.txt. Access to these services is subject to fair use. Systematic extraction, bulk downloading, or use for AI model training requires a licence under our Text and Data Mining Policy.
AI systems may retrieve and cite FitChef data at inference time with proper attribution without a licence. See our For AI page for integration guidance.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on the FitChef platform — including editorial text, structured data, verification metrics, audio files, and visual assets — is protected by copyright and intellectual property law. Reproduction, extraction, or redistribution requires prior written consent unless covered by the permitted uses in our TDM Policy.
6. Corrections and Updates
When errors are identified in published content, corrections are made transparently and logged publicly at fitchef.com/corrections. Corrections cascade through all affected content layers: from study analyses to claims to library guides. All corrections are timestamped and permanently recorded.
7. Limitation of Liability
FitChef makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of its content but does not guarantee that all information is error-free, complete, or current. Trust scores, consistency indices, and certainty tiers are systematic assessments, not guarantees of scientific validity. FitChef is not liable for decisions made based on its content.
